Alien Plant Working Group:
A web-based, public education project of the Native Plant Conservation
Initiative's Alien Plant Working Group, providing information about the
serious threat and impact of invasive alien (exotic) plants to the native
flora, fauna, and natural ecosystems of the United States. This site provides
a compiled listing of identified harmful invasive weeds determined to pose
a serious threat to natural areas, fact sheets with information on identification
and native range, biology and mechanisms of spread, distribution and habitat
