this handbook has been compiled from many sources. We sincerely
appreciate the time and effort that everyone spent preparing and
reviewing this material. Many of the past authors and contributors have
been identified in the 2004 PNW Plant Disease Management handbook, our 50th edition.
Our attempt here is to identify all
individuals who worked on the 2010 version of the PNW Plant
Disease Management Handbook whether their
effort was great or small. Those acknowledged as authors or contributors
have
written completely new sections or conducted major rewrites of existing
sections. Reviewers helped read through and verify the existing information.
Special thanks go to to Erik Ackerson for his skill in copyediting and desktop
publishing. Although she is listed below, we would like to say a special thank you
to Gerilynn Leonard who over the last several years has managed to review all the
pesticide labels in this handbook. That has greatly improved our recommendations
and confidence in this resource.
